The real deal
The adapter is the real thing; I got the wrong kind, through my own inattention (ordered the "T" tip rather than Magsafe 2), but once I got an adapter-for-my-adapter all was well. I could have returned the original, and gotten a new one, but I wanted to avoid the delay. In any case, I have my new Macbook adapter working right now, and it does exactly what it's supposed to. Good show, good price!

I have read post from others who claim that the savings do not outweigh the benefits. However, I am limited in money right now and took the risk anyways. I have had the charger for a couple of weeks now and I have had NO PROBLEMS. The only DIFFERENCE I noticed from my original charger is that after the green light turns orange, the orange light is barely noticeable. In short, it is dimly lit (L-Style Tip). Nevertheless, it still charges and that works for me.
